We believe in the advancement of coaching by increasing the coaching capabilities and skills of professional coaches.
Our Mentor & Supervision Coaches offer years of coaching experience in alignment with the International Coach Federation and hold the credentials of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Master Certified Coach (MCC). Several of our mentor coaches have been awarded the Professional Mentor Coach credential and are Senior Assessors for the ICF Certification Committee.
The minimum duration for our Mentor & Supervision Coaching agreements is 6 months* with coaching sessions occuring twice a month in 45-55 minute blocks. Meeting twice a month allows our mentor/supervision coaching clients the time between sessions to apply new skills, focus on their clients, and recognize their strengths and opportunities for exploration during their own coaching sessions.
Included in our mentoring/supervision relationships is the review of 6 recorded coaching sessions, generally 1 per month. We provide both written and verbal feedback on the application of coaching skills based on the Core Competencies of the ICF, for each recording as part of the TLS Mentor relationship. As in any coaching relationship, the mentor coaching client brings the topic, focus and desired outcomes for each coaching session. It's the client's agenda!
It is our policy to support our clients between coaching session through email and brief telephone contacts. We have found this to be important to our client's growth and development and do not charge extra for this value added service.

* ICF requires a minimum of 10 hours of Mentor Coaching to the Core Competencies and coaching skills for those pursuing ICF credentials.
